Sightsavers, Cameroon

One of the two projects COAT supported in January 2012 was Sightsavers. They want to eliminate River Blindness in North West Cameroon. COAT donated £200 towards the cost of treating more than 1 million people, as well as training and equipping 5,000 local volunteers to become Community Directed Distributors (CDDs) of river blindness drugs.
